	Animal Aid is the UK's largest animal rights group and one of the longest established in the world, having been founded in 1977. They campaign peacefully against all forms of animal abuse and promote a cruelty-free lifestyle. Animal Aid investigate and expose animal cruelty, and their undercover investigations and other evidence are often used by the media, bringing these issues to public attention.
	The Captive Animals’ Protection Society is a UK-based charity leading the campaign to end the use of animals in entertainment. Through a combination of undercover investigations, research, campaigns, political lobbying and education, CAPS aims to stop the exploitation of animals in entertainment, particularly in circuses, zoos and the exotic pet trade.
	The Campaign Against Leather & Fur (CALF) founded in 1989, encouraged the animal rights movement to adopt specific campaigns against the leather industry, and highlighted its similarity with fur. Since 1998, CALF has organised the London Vegan Festival.
