Book A Stall

NORTHERN VEGAN FESTIVAL, Saturday 7th April 2018, 10.30am – 5.00pm, Manchester Central, Manchester

(If you are a hot food catering stall, cake / dessert stall or a branch stall i.e. Arbonne, Tropic, doTERRA etc please email us before booking in to check for availability)

IMPORTANT INFORMATION – by completing the booking form you are agreeing to the following information:

Stalls will not be confirmed or booked until full payment has been made and public liability (up to £5 million) / food hygiene certificates have been received (when you book in we will send you details on how to send payment and provide the documents). No refunds can be given. Caterers will also be required to submit a risk assessment and method statement and must bring a first aid kit, fire blanket, floor covering and perspex cooking guards to the festival

When you make payment please help us out by letting us know the date you pay and please use Northern Vegan Festival and your stall name as the payment reference otherwise we will not be able to identify your payment.

All items being displayed including any flyers, magazines etc must be 100% vegan, containing no animal ingredients which includes wool and honey and they and no part of them must have been tested on animals. Advertisement of any non vegan items is not permitted.

No naked flames, deep fat fryers or gas are allowed in the venue

No table cloths or extension leads are provided

EVERY piece of electrical equipment used including extension leads must be PAT tested and proof of this broth with you on the day of the event. 

No food preparation is allowed on site

Stalls sampling food / drinks must follow the sampling sizes in the EU regulation guide 

No hot tea or coffee is allowed on sale 

All rubbish must be bagged up and taken away at the end of the festival

There is no onsite parking available – vehicles must be unloaded and them immediately moved before stall set up is started

All food stall must have allergen information signs clearly displayed at all times 

Stall costs:

Caterers – £240 (including VAT) (4m x 2m space including 2 x 6ft tables and chairs if required)

Business – £120 (including VAT) (2m x 2m space including 1 x 6ft table and chairs if required)

Charity – £80 (including VAT) (2m x 2m space including 1 x 6ft table and chairs if required)

Electric costs:

1 x single phase 10amp – £195
1 x single phase 16amp – £210
1 x single phase 20 amp – £255
1 x single phase 32 amp - £375

1 x three phase 10amp – £320
1 x three phase 16amp – £440
1 x three phase 20 amp – £515
1 x three phase 32 amp - £750

Sponsorship costs:

£120 charity / £180 business / £300 caterers to include one free stall, logo on flyers and posters, 5 posts on Facebook, invite to advertise any special offers on facebook, company / product / charity photographs on facebook, logo on event schedule handed out to all visitors



Donate a Goody Bag

We encourage stall holders to send samples of their products, discounts or special offers that we will go inside our 100 goody bags. Please send samples, discounts or offers to Victoria (email info@yorkshireveganfestival.com for postal address) or arrange in advance to bring on the morning of the festival.

What is the stall set-up time?
Access into the venue is from 7:00 am onwards. The organisers only gain access at 7:00 am ourselves so please bear this in mind as we need time to get the stall names and signage out.
What about parking for stall holders?
There is no on site parking but there is an NCP car park that joins onto the venue which will be offering discounted all day parking for £12. Cars must not be left unattended at any time and must be unloaded and moved before stall set up begins.
How to dispose of the rubbish?
All rubbish must be fully bagged up before you leave and taken with you or a charge of £250 will be passed on
Allocation of tables

Please note that the tables will not have table cloths on them so please bring your own if you would like to use them. There will be no chairs provided. Please do not ask us for extra tables when you arrive as we have only hired the number that has been booked and we will have allocated all table space out.

What about kitchen access?
Kitchen access may be available but only upon advance request. Please leave the kitchen clean and tidy after use or a charge of £250 will be passed on
About power consumption
If you have booked electricity please stick to the exact usage that you have booked or your equipment will not work. Additional power cannot be booked on the day of the festival.
For live cooking stall holders

Gas is not allowed inside the venue in any areas

Deep fat fryers are not allowed inside the venue in any areas

No naked flames allowed inside the venue in any areas

How to contact organisers
The organisers will have very limited email access the week prior to the festival so please contact as soon as possible if you have any queries. We cannot guarantee to answer late queries.
Will internet be provided?
Standard Wifi will be available. Other internet will not be available unless booked in advance
Will a laptop be provided for speakers / demo hosts?
No – please bring your own laptops
